XLJJ-BJ005 uses one of the oldest gestures in equestrian art — a horse reaching down to graze — as the structure of a small side table. The head lowers, the neck arcs upward, and that single sweeping line carries the round top. It is a piece where the pose does the engineering, and because the whole figure is hollow-cast in bronze by the traditional lost-wax method, the line from muzzle to tabletop stays unbroken.
The finish is a warm brown-bronze patina applied and sealed by hand, with lighter wear on the raised planes of the neck and shoulders so the form reads clearly in daylight. At 594 mm the table stands at sofa-arm height. The round top of roughly 400 mm is enough for a drink, a small tray or a table lamp, and the compact base means the piece fits between two chairs or in a corner without blocking circulation.
Weight is carried through the legs and hooves into a stable stance, so the table does not tip when a cup is set down on one edge. It is intended for indoor use, and it sits well beside timber, stone and lacquered floors alike.
