Product Overview
Among TYART’s animal bronzes, this sheep stands out for the way a hand-applied patina plays over its forms: three cartoon sheep on a crescent moon base. The modelling is calm and confident, built from broad planes that catch light along the silhouette. At 429 × 156 × 422 mm, it is sized for sideboards, consoles and reception counters.
The body is modeled as a series of broad, confident masses — chest, shoulder, haunch — separated by clean transitions rather than surface fuss. Horns, where the model has them, are the counterpoint: thin, precise, and polished to catch light, they give the piece its lift.
Because every surface is patinated by hand before sealing, the finish has depth: brighter where the forms rise, deeper in the hollows. Placed on sideboards, consoles and reception counters, the sculpture reads as a lived-in bronze object rather than a plated ornament, and it keeps its tone with nothing more than routine dusting.
Design Inspiration: Strength, Ambition and the Charge Ahead
The bull is one of the most widely understood symbols in the world: on Wall Street it is the image of a rising market, in Mediterranean tradition it stands for courage, and in the Chinese zodiac it stands for diligence and steadily accumulated wealth. Mountain sheep — argali, ibex and antelope — add the other half of the message: at home on sheer cliffs, they stand for ambition and the confidence to climb. This bronze borrows both languages: mass where the animal is powerful, upward line where it reaches.
Craftsmanship: Lost-Wax Casting and Hand Patina
Casting begins with the original master model. A wax copy is coated in ceramic, fired, and replaced with molten bronze in the lost-wax method our foundry has used for years. The hollow-cast bronze is then fettled and finished by hand — seams removed, detail sharpened, surface evened — before the patina is built up in successive washes and sealed to protect the tone. Small variations between pieces are the signature of hand finishing, not a defect.
The horns are cast as part of the body — not attached — which keeps the lines continuous and removes any visible joint; the trade-off is a harder casting, which is why the shells are checked wall by wall before finishing.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. What does the bull (or horned sheep) symbolize?
Bulls stand for strength, determination and growth — the familiar “charging bull” image of a rising market — which makes them a favorite for offices and opening gifts. Horned sheep and antelope stand for ambition and the ability to climb, literally and figuratively.
2. Are the horns fragile?
No. The horns are cast integrally with the body as one bronze piece, so there is no joint to work loose. They are bronze through the section — hollow-cast like the rest of the shell — and will flex slightly under impact rather than snapping like resin or ceramic.
3. Is each sculpture exactly the same?
The casting comes from the same mold, so the form is consistent. The patina, however, is applied by hand, which means slight variations in tone between individual pieces — a normal characteristic of genuine cast bronze.
4. What is the MOQ?
We work with both single-piece orders and bulk project orders. Contact us with your quantity and destination port for an accurate quotation and lead time.
5. How is the sculpture packed for shipping?
Each piece is wrapped in protective foam and packed in a reinforced export carton; larger pieces travel in a foam-lined wooden crate. Wooden crates are standard for project shipments.
