Peaceful Girl II – Bronze Dancer Sculpture

Hollow-cast in bronze by the traditional lost-wax method, 250 × 250 × 960 mm, 4.9 kg. A slender dancer in a teal dress with one arm raised, finished with a hand-applied, sealed patina — ideal for living rooms, hotel lounges and reception areas.

Product Overview

Cast by the traditional lost-wax method and finished entirely by hand, this bronze figure presents a slender dancer in a teal dress with one arm raised. a deep blue patina gives the surface its depth, and the simplified planes keep the design readable in modern interiors. At 250 × 250 × 960 mm, it is sized for sideboards, consoles and reception counters.

Each figure is built on a live diagonal or arc — nothing stands parallel to the base. Limbs are slim and elongated; the dress or ribbon carries the last trace of movement. The contrast of a small base contact and a big gesture is the series signature.

Because every surface is patinated by hand before sealing, the finish has depth: brighter where the forms rise, deeper in the hollows. Placed on sideboards, consoles and reception counters, the sculpture reads as a lived-in bronze object rather than a plated ornament, and it keeps its tone with nothing more than routine dusting.

Design Inspiration: The Body in Motion

Eastern dance contributes the sleeve and the ribbon — movement extended beyond the body into flowing cloth. Whether the figure dances alone or in pairs, the message is the same on both sides: vitality, discipline and joy, and a blessing of upward energy for the room it lives in.

Craftsmanship: Lost-Wax Casting and Hand Patina

Casting begins with the original master model. A wax copy is coated in ceramic, fired, and replaced with molten bronze in the lost-wax method our foundry has used for years. The hollow-cast bronze is then fettled and finished by hand — seams removed, detail sharpened, surface evened — before the patina is built up in successive washes and sealed to protect the tone. Small variations between pieces are the signature of hand finishing, not a defect.

Dynamic poses are balanced on their base before packing; each piece is leveled so the implied motion reads correctly from the main viewing angle.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Are the dynamic poses stable in normal use?

Yes — stability is designed in. Balancing points are cast thick, spheres and bases are weighted, and every piece is leveled before packing. The motion is visual, not mechanical.

2. Do the dancer models work as gifts?

They are among our most-gifted figures — the raised arms and upward lines read as blessing and progress in many cultures, and the subjects suit dancers, coaches, students and new ventures alike.

3. Can I order this piece in a different color?

Yes. The finish shown is the standard patina of this model, but the same sculpture can be produced in other tones — warm brown, antique gold, verdigris green or a custom two-tone patina. Hand patina is our standard process, so an alternative finish does not significantly affect lead time.

4. Is each sculpture exactly the same?

The casting comes from the same mold, so the form is consistent. The patina, however, is applied by hand, which means slight variations in tone between individual pieces — a normal characteristic of genuine cast bronze.

5. What is the MOQ?
