Product Overview
The bonsai with golden leaves no.2 – bronze tree sculpture belongs to TYART’s nature collection: a second bonsai pose, branches stepping down, golden leaves in clusters, hollow-cast in bronze by the traditional lost-wax method and hand-finished with dark bronze with gilded leaves. It is sized for sideboards, consoles and reception counters.
The trunk and branches are cast with bark texture and a deliberate windswept lean; the leaves are clustered in clouds of gilded bronze, each cluster detailed enough to read as foliage rather than lumps.
The patina is built up in layers and sealed, which means tone varies slightly from piece to piece — the mark of genuine hand finishing rather than a sprayed imitation. On a sideboard, console or reception counter, it holds its own without competing with the furniture around it, and it needs no more care than an occasional soft-cloth dusting.
Design Inspiration: A Tree in an Entire Landscape
Of course, the East never needed the introduction: penjing — landscapes in pots — has been a scholar’s discipline for well over a thousand years, and a gnarled tree over empty space is the classic image of restraint and age. Gold leaves add the wish the living tree cannot hold: 金枝玉叶, nobility and lasting prosperity. As an opening or anniversary gift it lands perfectly in both traditions.
Craftsmanship: Lost-Wax Casting and Hand Patina
Every sculpture is hollow-cast in bronze by the traditional lost-wax method: a wax model is taken from the original master, encased in a ceramic shell, burnt out and replaced with molten bronze. The raw casting is cleaned, welded and refined entirely by hand before the patina is applied layer by layer and sealed. Because the patina is finished by hand, each piece varies slightly in tone and depth — a mark of genuine cast bronze rather than a sprayed imitation.
Leaf clouds are cast with fine branch cores and finished in gilded tone over darker bronze, sealed so the brightness stays without polishing.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Does it need any care like a real bonsai?
None at all — no water, light or pruning. An occasional dry-cloth dusting keeps the gold leaves bright; the sealed finish handles the rest.
2. Can it be given as a business gift?
It is a classic one: a golden tree stands for steady growth and lasting prosperity. We can engrave a logo or message on the base for gift orders.
3. Is each sculpture exactly the same?
The casting comes from the same mold, so the form is consistent. The patina, however, is applied by hand, which means slight variations in tone between individual pieces — a normal characteristic of genuine cast bronze.
4. What is the MOQ?
We work with both single-piece orders and bulk project orders. Contact us with your quantity and destination port for an accurate quotation and lead time.
5. How is the sculpture packed for shipping?
Each piece is wrapped in protective foam and packed in a reinforced export carton; larger pieces travel in a foam-lined wooden crate. Wooden crates are standard for project shipments.
