Product Overview
The moon over mountains – gold crescent bronze sculpture belongs to TYART’s nature collection: a gold crescent moon rising over a carved teal mountain landscape, a golden pine on the ridge, hollow-cast in bronze by the traditional lost-wax method and hand-finished with polished gold with teal patina accents. At 700 × 150 × 600 mm, it is sized for sideboards, consoles and reception counters.
Slim black plinths keep the ground quiet and the silhouette airborne; sight lines pass through the negative space, which is what keeps so solid a subject feeling light.
Because every surface is patinated by hand before sealing, the finish has depth: brighter where the forms rise, deeper in the hollows. Placed on sideboards, consoles and reception counters, the sculpture reads as a lived-in bronze object rather than a plated ornament, and it keeps its tone with nothing more than routine dusting.
Design Inspiration: Mountains in Positive and Negative
Modern sculpture learned from East Asian art that a form is made as much by its emptiness as by its mass — the positive shape and the negative space answering each other. This series builds mountains that way: the rising range is the positive form, and the carved rock texture opening through it is the negative, so a subject as grand as a mountain never sits heavy. Polished gold accents — a pine, a moon, a drifting branch — mark the high points, the way gilt light breaks along a real ridge.
Craftsmanship: Lost-Wax Casting and Hand Patina
Every sculpture is hollow-cast in bronze by the traditional lost-wax method: a wax model is taken from the original master, encased in a ceramic shell, burnt out and replaced with molten bronze. The raw casting is cleaned, welded and refined entirely by hand before the patina is applied layer by layer and sealed. Because the patina is finished by hand, each piece varies slightly in tone and depth — a mark of genuine cast bronze rather than a sprayed imitation.
Teal, navy and gold patinas are applied in separate passes with resist lines between colors, then sealed; the color boundary is checked against a template on every piece.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Is the negative space really open through the piece?
Yes — the carved rock texture opens through the form, so light and sight lines pass straight through. That balance of mass and void is the point of the design: a full mountain subject that never sits heavy on the console.
2. Do the teal and navy models differ only in color?
Mostly, yes — silhouette and inner scenery vary slightly by model. If you tell us which combination you like, we can send current photos of each.
3. Is each sculpture exactly the same?
The casting comes from the same mold, so the form is consistent. The patina, however, is applied by hand, which means slight variations in tone between individual pieces — a normal characteristic of genuine cast bronze.
4. What is the MOQ?
We work with both single-piece orders and bulk project orders. Contact us with your quantity and destination port for an accurate quotation and lead time.
5. How is the sculpture packed for shipping?
Each piece is wrapped in protective foam and packed in a reinforced export carton; larger pieces travel in a foam-lined wooden crate. Wooden crates are standard for project shipments.
