Cast by the traditional lost-wax method and finished entirely by hand, this bronze flower sculpture presents golden flowers rising from a heap of dark teal rubble rocks. a dark teal patina gives the surface its depth, and the simplified planes keep the design readable in modern interiors. The rubble is a low, angular mass of teal-patina rocks; the branch leans out at a diagonal, its gold flowers clustered at the tip. The composition is deliberately asymmetric — mass on one side, reach on the other.

Craftsmanship: Lost-Wax Casting and Hand Patina
Casting begins with the original master model. A wax copy is coated in ceramic, fired, and replaced with molten bronze in the lost-wax method our foundry has used for years. The hollow-cast bronze is then fettled and finished by hand — seams removed, detail sharpened, surface evened — before the patina is built up in successive washes and sealed to protect the tone. Small variations between pieces are the signature of hand finishing, not a defect.
The gold branch is set through the rock mass with a hidden core fix, verified so the overhang carries safely.
