Product Overview
Model XL19A4-49 is built around a single image: argali head trophy in gold and red on a marble base. The piece is hollow-cast by the traditional lost-wax method, then patinated and sealed by hand, so a hand-applied patina sits over crisp, hand-chased detail. At 351 × 396 × 483 mm, it is sized for sideboards, consoles and reception counters.
Weight sits deliberately low in the composition, with the legs gathered under the body and the head leading the line. Horn detail is where the casting shows its precision: each ridge and curve is cleaned by hand after casting so the spirals stay crisp.
The finish is sealed against fingerprints and daily handling. On a sideboard, console or reception counter, the piece works as a quiet anchor in the room — close enough to touch, solid enough to stay put, and simple to care for with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
Design Inspiration: Strength, Ambition and the Charge Ahead
Few symbols travel as well as the bull. Since the famous Charging Bull was set down in New York, a bronze bull has meant growth and determination to clients in every market — which is why bull sculptures are so often chosen for offices, receptions and opening gifts. The horned sheep carry the complementary meaning of ascent. The design keeps both honest: the bull’s mass sits low and settled; the horned sheep rises on its base with the neck lifted. Surfaces are resolved into calm, readable planes so the bronze reads as a symbol first and an animal study second.
Craftsmanship: Lost-Wax Casting and Hand Patina
Casting begins with the original master model. A wax copy is coated in ceramic, fired, and replaced with molten bronze in the lost-wax method our foundry has used for years. The hollow-cast bronze is then fettled and finished by hand — seams removed, detail sharpened, surface evened — before the patina is built up in successive washes and sealed to protect the tone. Small variations between pieces are the signature of hand finishing, not a defect.
Horns and hooves are the precision points of this model: after casting they are filed and re-polished by hand so the spiral ridges and edges stay sharp, while the body keeps its softer, matte patina.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. What does the bull (or horned sheep) symbolize?
Bulls stand for strength, determination and growth — the familiar “charging bull” image of a rising market — which makes them a favorite for offices and opening gifts. Horned sheep and antelope stand for ambition and the ability to climb, literally and figuratively.
2. Are the horns fragile?
No. The horns are cast integrally with the body as one bronze piece, so there is no joint to work loose. They are bronze through the section — hollow-cast like the rest of the shell — and will flex slightly under impact rather than snapping like resin or ceramic.
3. Can I order this piece in a different color?
Yes. The finish shown is the standard patina of this model, but the same sculpture can be produced in other tones — warm brown, antique gold, verdigris green or a custom two-tone patina. Hand patina is our standard process, so an alternative finish does not significantly affect lead time.
4. Is each sculpture exactly the same?
The casting comes from the same mold, so the form is consistent. The patina, however, is applied by hand, which means slight variations in tone between individual pieces — a normal characteristic of genuine cast bronze.
5. How is the sculpture packed for shipping?
Each piece is wrapped in protective foam and packed in a reinforced export carton; larger pieces travel in a foam-lined wooden crate. Wooden crates are standard for project shipments.
