Product Overview
Model XL19A2-58 is built around a single image: a black rock form rising until it turns, at its crown, into golden city towers. The piece is hollow-cast by the traditional lost-wax method, then patinated and sealed by hand, so a glossy black finish with polished gold accents sits over crisp, hand-chased detail. It is sized for sideboards, consoles and reception counters.
The lower body is modeled as a black organic rock mass — hand-tooled texture under a mirror-gloss finish — and the transition upward is the point: the silhouette steps, storey by storey, into polished gold blocks that read as towers against the light.
Because every surface is patinated by hand before sealing, the finish has depth: brighter where the forms rise, deeper in the hollows. Placed on sideboards, consoles and reception counters, the sculpture reads as a lived-in bronze object rather than a plated ornament, and it keeps its tone with nothing more than routine dusting.
Design Inspiration: Renascence — From Stone to City
Cities have always been described as things that grow — Italo Calvino’s invisible cities, painted towers climbing straight out of the rocks. This piece tells that story in a single object: a black rock form rises from its base, and by the crown it has turned into geometric golden towers — a mountain becoming a city, stone becoming skyline. The title says the rest: Renascence, a rebirth.
Craftsmanship: Lost-Wax Casting and Hand Patina
Every sculpture is hollow-cast in bronze by the traditional lost-wax method: a wax model is taken from the original master, encased in a ceramic shell, burnt out and replaced with molten bronze. The raw casting is cleaned, welded and refined entirely by hand before the patina is applied layer by layer and sealed. Because the patina is finished by hand, each piece varies slightly in tone and depth — a mark of genuine cast bronze rather than a sprayed imitation.
Gold planes are milled to a crisp edge and fixed with hidden core supports through the black mass — no visible hardware anywhere on the piece.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. What does the title “Renascence” refer to?
Rebirth — a mountain that grows into a city. The black rock is where it starts; the golden towers are what it becomes. It is the same story for a company, a family or a personal project: rise from where you are rooted.
2. Does the black gloss show fingerprints?
The surface is sealed with a finish chosen for high-gloss black, so routine handling leaves little trace and a dry cloth restores the mirror instantly.
3. Is each sculpture exactly the same?
The casting comes from the same mold, so the form is consistent. The patina, however, is applied by hand, which means slight variations in tone between individual pieces — a normal characteristic of genuine cast bronze.
4. What is the MOQ?
We work with both single-piece orders and bulk project orders. Contact us with your quantity and destination port for an accurate quotation and lead time.
5. How is the sculpture packed for shipping?
Each piece is wrapped in protective foam and packed in a reinforced export carton; larger pieces travel in a foam-lined wooden crate. Wooden crates are standard for project shipments.
