Product Overview
Cast by the traditional lost-wax method and finished entirely by hand, this bronze mountain sculpture presents a smooth verdigris cliff rising to a small golden pine at its crown. a verdigris teal patina with a gold pine accent gives the surface its depth, and the simplified planes keep the design readable in modern interiors. At 720 × 420 × 250 mm, it is sized for sideboards, consoles and reception counters.
Height does the work: at 600–900 mm these read as vertical accents on sideboards and plinths, anchoring a room the way a single tall plant would.
The finish is sealed against fingerprints and daily handling. On a sideboard, console or reception counter, the piece works as a quiet anchor in the room — close enough to touch, solid enough to stay put, and simple to care for with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
Design Inspiration: The Lone Pine on the Cliff
European Romanticism painted the lone tree against the sky — Caspar David Friedrich’s oaks and pines standing for endurance, solitude and quiet defiance. This series translates that mood into bronze: a tall verdigris rock face, sheer and weathered, with a single golden pine at its crown or clinging to its edge. The contrast of scale is the whole story — one small living thing against a mass of ancient stone.
Craftsmanship: Lost-Wax Casting and Hand Patina
The piece is produced by the traditional lost-wax method. Wax is modelled from the master, invested in a ceramic shell and burnt out, and molten bronze is poured into the cavity, so the finished casting is a hollow bronze shell rather than a solid block — lighter to handle, easier to place, and true to the way fine bronzes have been made for centuries. After casting, the surface is chased and polished by hand, then patinated in layered tones and sealed.
Tall thin monoliths are cast hollow to keep weight reasonable, with internal thickness verified at the narrow sections; the rock texture is tooled by hand so no two faces repeat exactly.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Is the pine fragile on such a tall piece?
It is cast as part of the design with verified thickness and hand-dressed after casting — the same care given to the monolith itself. Packed with molded protection around the crown, it ships safely.
2. Can I group several mountains together?
Yes — the series is designed with shared scale and patina, so two or three models of different heights make a convincing range, like a miniature mountain range on a long console.
3. Can I order this piece in a different color?
Yes. The finish shown is the standard patina of this model, but the same sculpture can be produced in other tones — warm brown, antique gold, verdigris green or a custom two-tone patina. Hand patina is our standard process, so an alternative finish does not significantly affect lead time.
4. Is each sculpture exactly the same?
The casting comes from the same mold, so the form is consistent. The patina, however, is applied by hand, which means slight variations in tone between individual pieces — a normal characteristic of genuine cast bronze.
5. What is the MOQ?
