Rising Water Form No.2 – White, Blue and Gold Bronze

Hollow-cast in bronze by the traditional lost-wax method, 225 × 203 × 700 mm. A taller rising water form, ribbons knotted mid-air with flying, finished with a hand-applied, sealed patina — ideal for living rooms, hotel lounges and reception areas.

Product Overview

Cast by the traditional lost-wax method and finished entirely by hand, this bronze abstract sculpture presents a taller rising water form, ribbons knotted mid-air with flying splashes, white and blue with touches of gold. a white and blue patina with polished gold accents gives the surface its depth, and the simplified planes keep the design readable in modern interiors. At 225 × 203 × 700 mm, it is sized for sideboards, consoles and reception counters.

Slim black bases keep the ground quiet so the ascending line owns the composition.

Because every surface is patinated by hand before sealing, the finish has depth: brighter where the forms rise, deeper in the hollows. Placed on sideboards, consoles and reception counters, the sculpture reads as a lived-in bronze object rather than a plated ornament, and it keeps its tone with nothing more than routine dusting.

Design Inspiration: Water, Going Up

Modern Western sculpture loves the line that rises — kinetic forms, spiral towers, water caught on its way up. This series follows water through its whole path: a column that twists like current, ribbons that knot and rise between thin arcs, crests that break into flying splashes. The patinas stay pale — silver-white with blue, green or gold notes by model — so the water reads as light rather than metal.

Craftsmanship: Lost-Wax Casting and Hand Patina

The piece is produced by the traditional lost-wax method. Wax is modelled from the master, invested in a ceramic shell and burnt out, and molten bronze is poured into the cavity, so the finished casting is a hollow bronze shell rather than a solid block — lighter to handle, easier to place, and true to the way fine bronzes have been made for centuries. After casting, the surface is chased and polished by hand, then patinated in layered tones and sealed.

Color changes are polished and married at hand-checked junctions — the transition must read as water breaking, not as a seam.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Are the pale finishes plated?

No — they are hand-applied patinas over the bronze, built in pale layers and sealed. That is why the tones have depth rather than the flat shine of plating.

2. Do the three models work as a set?

Yes — they share height range and patina language, so a pair or trio reads as one rising composition. Tell us the mix and we will quote the set.

3. Can I order this piece in a different color?

Yes. The finish shown is the standard patina of this model, but the same sculpture can be produced in other tones — warm brown, antique gold, verdigris green or a custom two-tone patina. Hand patina is our standard process, so an alternative finish does not significantly affect lead time.

4. Is each sculpture exactly the same?

The casting comes from the same mold, so the form is consistent. The patina, however, is applied by hand, which means slight variations in tone between individual pieces — a normal characteristic of genuine cast bronze.

5. How is the sculpture packed for shipping?

Each piece is wrapped in protective foam and packed in a reinforced export carton; larger pieces travel in a foam-lined wooden crate. Wooden crates are standard for project shipments.
