Minimalist and Luxurious Little Pig

Hollow-cast in bronze by the traditional lost-wax method, 180 × 120 × 120 mm, 0.9 kg. Polished gold pig, minimalist form, finished with a hand-applied, sealed patina — ideal for desks, shelves and reception counters.

Product Overview

Among TYART’s animal bronzes, this pig stands out for the way a hand-applied patina plays over its forms: polished gold pig, minimalist form. The modelling is calm and confident, built from broad planes that catch light along the silhouette. At 180 × 120 × 120 mm, it is sized for desks, shelves and console tops.

Where the model is a pair or a set, the pigs are posed at slightly different angles and head heights so a shelf of them reads as a family rather than a production line.

Because every surface is patinated by hand before sealing, the finish has depth: brighter where the forms rise, deeper in the hollows. Placed on desks, shelves and console tops, the sculpture reads as a lived-in bronze object rather than a plated ornament, and it keeps its tone with nothing more than routine dusting.

Design Inspiration: The Universal Lucky Pig

The design leans into the pig’s natural sculpture — it is already a rounded volume. Detail stays minimal: ears, snout, a curly tail, and hooves placed wide enough to carry the belly’s mass with a straight face. For new homes, new ventures and shop counters, it is the friendliest good-luck symbol we cast.

Craftsmanship: Lost-Wax Casting and Hand Patina

Every sculpture is hollow-cast in bronze by the traditional lost-wax method: a wax model is taken from the original master, encased in a ceramic shell, burnt out and replaced with molten bronze. The raw casting is cleaned, welded and refined entirely by hand before the patina is applied layer by layer and sealed. Because the patina is finished by hand, each piece varies slightly in tone and depth — a mark of genuine cast bronze rather than a sprayed imitation.

Faces are finished by hand under magnification — eyes set level, snout centered, ears mirrored — because at ornament scale the expression is the product.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Does the pig symbolize wealth?

Yes — the pig is a good-luck symbol across cultures: the lucky Glücksschwein of Central Europe, the universal piggy bank, and the Chinese zodiac sign of plenty and contentment. These pieces are popular for shop counters, new homes and business openings.

2. Is it a piggy bank?

No — it is a hollow-cast sculpture for display. There is no coin slot; think of it as the lucky pig itself rather than the bank.

3. Can I order this piece in a different color?

Yes. The finish shown is the standard patina of this model, but the same sculpture can be produced in other tones — warm brown, antique gold, verdigris green or a custom two-tone patina. Hand patina is our standard process, so an alternative finish does not significantly affect lead time.

4. What is the MOQ?

We work with both single-piece orders and bulk project orders. Contact us with your quantity and destination port for an accurate quotation and lead time.

5. How is the sculpture packed for shipping?

Each piece is wrapped in protective foam and packed in a reinforced export carton; larger pieces travel in a foam-lined wooden crate. Wooden crates are standard for project shipments.
