The figure is hollow-cast in bronze by the traditional lost-wax method and patinated by hand to a warm bronze-brown that lightens across the back and shoulders. The top is finished with a brighter brass sheen, so the eye reads the seat surface first and the animal second — useful in interiors where a figurative piece should still feel calm.
