Product Overview
Among TYART’s animal bronzes, this horse stands out for the way a hand-applied patina plays over its forms: classical horse head bust on a tall base. The modelling is calm and confident, built from broad planes that catch light along the silhouette. At 350 × 250 × 1700 mm, it is designed for lobby floors and large entrance surfaces.
Proportion is where this model earns its keep: the chest is deep, the haunches are full, and the neck arches into the head in one unbroken curve. The planes of the body are kept broad and smooth, catching light along the flank and letting the patina do the modeling, rather than relying on busy surface detail.
The finish is sealed against fingerprints and daily handling. On a lobby floor or large entrance surface, the piece works as a quiet anchor in the room — close enough to touch, solid enough to stay put, and simple to care for with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
Design Inspiration: The Horse as a Symbol of Freedom and Achievement
Across cultures the horse has always meant the same things: freedom, power and forward motion. It is the animal of triumphal arches and equestrian monuments in the West, and of the celebrated Tang dynasty glazed horses in China — no subject has been cast in bronze more often. This model draws on both traditions: the gesture is observed from life, and the lines are simplified into smooth sculptural planes that sit comfortably in a contemporary interior. Placed in an office or an entrance, it reads the same way in every market — energy, drive and success in motion.
Craftsmanship: Lost-Wax Casting and Hand Patina
Casting begins with the original master model. A wax copy is coated in ceramic, fired, and replaced with molten bronze in the lost-wax method our foundry has used for years. The hollow-cast bronze is then fettled and finished by hand — seams removed, detail sharpened, surface evened — before the patina is built up in successive washes and sealed to protect the tone. Small variations between pieces are the signature of hand finishing, not a defect.
The mane, tail and hoof edges are cleaned out by hand after casting — a step that machine finishing cannot replicate — and the transitions between polished and matte areas are worked with soft brushes so the tone shifts gently across the body.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Does the horse suit modern interiors, or only Chinese-style rooms?
It suits both. The simplified planes and clean silhouette are contemporary, while the horse’s place in both European and Chinese art gives the piece cultural depth. In oriental-themed interiors it reinforces the theme; in modern rooms it works as a warm sculptural accent against neutral materials.
2. Is the horse shown alone, or can I order a pair or herd?
This listing is for the piece described above. Related models in the collection include pairs and group compositions; if you are planning a matched set for a lobby or showroom, contact us and we will recommend the combinations that work best together.
3. Is each sculpture exactly the same?
The casting comes from the same mold, so the form is consistent. The patina, however, is applied by hand, which means slight variations in tone between individual pieces — a normal characteristic of genuine cast bronze.
4. What is the MOQ?
We work with both single-piece orders and bulk project orders. Contact us with your quantity and destination port for an accurate quotation and lead time.
5. How is the sculpture packed for shipping?
Each piece is wrapped in protective foam and packed in a reinforced export carton; larger pieces travel in a foam-lined wooden crate. Wooden crates are standard for project shipments.
